K&W is a day long conference planned to take place on the 31st May 2016 from 11:30 until 17:00

This is an event targeted at students who study at Queen’s Campus, but open to students from the entire University. It will offer them an opportunity to share their own ideas and research work as well as learn about the work of their peers in the same and different subject areas or departments.

Those who do not feel comfortable speaking are encouraged to submit a poster for display in the exhibition space or choose to attend as a delegate. It is hoped that this last option will appeal to second or third year students looking for research or dissertation ideas, whilst the possibility of presenting is appealing to a third year student, masters or PhD level student who has spent a large amount of time on a private piece of work which they are now looking to share.

The day will also involve key note speeches, and the judging of a poster competition and prize in order to bring focus to those not speaking at the conference. In addition all refreshments will be provided in the poster hall.
